Melanie Jackson explores the world around her and the materials which circulate and develop to become intricate and also quite unlikely technological modern conveniences. In her new animated film, Melanie deconstructs a global positioning device and follows all of the parts back to origins of the materials they are made from. This amazing film takes us all the way back to the Tin mines of the Congo and also the Rubber trees of Sri Lanka. This completely fantastic piece of cinematography is set amidst an exhibition which also explores the many bizarre things that you cannot send around the world.
